So someone sends me an email saying I’m “old skool”
and that I only like stuff from the 80s, “a century
ago”… Well, you have to keep in mind that since I’ve
been listening to a *lot* of music, from several genres,
for the last 27 years, its really hard for something to
comeup nowadays and be different and innovative.
Most of the bands and songs nowadays are plain and
simple remakes of bands decades old; and sometimes they
actually copy/cover their songs.
So, is there any more recent stuff that I find good
enough for my standards of novelty, difference and honesty?
(meaning that they dont totally sound like old stuff but
rehashed for the emo generation…)
