I just had this idea for encrypted Twitter messages but someone implemented it a month ago http://ping.fm/KoZyN Oh well… It uses a shared key but it would actually be quite simple to implement a public/private key scheme, with the public key published in the Twitter profile of the message receptor and the private key stored client side in the Twitter client configuration…

Interessante, embora me pareça algo frágil: mensagens pequenas (1120 bits) e algumas com formatos standard (retweets) facilitando ataques.
